Description The Criminal Justice baccalaureate program provides a combined training and education package to prepare men and women for a professional career in the criminal justice system. Students must have a minimum of 48 transferrable credits and a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA to be accepted into the program. The BS degree in Criminal Justice is awarded for successful completion of 120 semester credit hours of coursework. These credit hours are a combination of the 85 credit hours from Lansing Community College (or other college) and 35 semester credit hours from Ferris State in Lansing. Ferris off-campus programs partner with the local community college to offer various degree programs. Students should plan to take a combination of classes from both their community college and their local Ferris location to complete the degree.
