Description This is an entry-level program designed for students seeking to enter the boiler operation, power plant operation or facilities operation and maintenance fields. In this program students operate boilers, engines, turbines and heating and cooling equipment in the “hands-on” labs in the Energy Technology Department. Upon completing this 17 credit hour program, students receive a diploma which may be presented to local license agencies to assist in meeting the requirements to take a HP Boiler, LP Boiler or NIULPE 4th Class license exam. Note: In-district tuition applies to Dearborn School District residents only. Out-of-district tuition for this program is $2,040.
